Always on the look-out for new trends and new spots in Paris, I went to Brach 3 times, during its first month of opening.

Let’s begin with the decoration, signed by Philippe Stark, which is both modern and contemporary at the same time.  However, this is intensified with the “boudoir” atmosphere, with all the books on the shelves and the coffee tables which immediately trigger a warm atmosphere.

The clientele is very diverse and paradoxically rather elderly, while the waiters are in jeans and sneakers, to give it a classy and accessible look.

With the Mediterranean cuisine of chef Adam Bentalha with Arabic flavors, it’s easy getting bewitched but one needs to make the right choices !

I recommend:

– In drinks Moscow Mule (my favorite cocktail) raspberry specially “Black Mule”. Pita bread with mozzarella and truffle complemented by black olives tapenade !

– Starters Crab cannelloni and Sea Bream tartare with avocado, carpaccio of scallops with truffle.

–  For main course: Quinoa Tajine with vegetables (refined and light), fish fettuccine (and shell), chicken with greek sauce.

– For the dessert, and having tasted 4 (lemon tart, apple, coconut raspberry and layer cake), the only one, which was good and innovative, was the layered cake in honey and orange blossom.
