I love being in Paris on a Sunday, to try out new brunches! In this case, I loved the one at Crillon!
First surprise: the brunch isn’t held in one of the hotel restaurants, but is organized in the historic lounges on the 1st floor, with a terrace and mindblowing views of Place de la Concorde, not to mention the Seine river and the Eiffel Tower. If you like places with a view, this is one of the best places I have ever been to. And the decoration is absolutely stunning, after the renovation orchestrated by Tristan Auer, Chahan Minassian and Karl Lagerfeld in 2017.
The clientele of the day is in keeping with the decor, classic but very elegant, and quite French.
If you like buffet brunches, you won’t be disappointed! The selection of salty and sweet dishes is so good, that an entire room is devoted to him.
There is something for everyone, various kinds of yogurts, pastries, a stand with a chef who prepares scrambled eggs, along with the ingredients of your choice right in front of you, and you can even add truffles! Honestly, I have never eaten something this good!
There are several buffets depending on the theme :
– Seafood with oysters, salmon, tarama, shrimps…
– Hot dishes, cold cuts, and right at the center you have, chopped salads
– The dessert section is varied, fresh fruit, lemon tart, coffee-chocolate pastries … and once again there is a chef who prepares French toast, just the way you like them.
According to me, this brunch is really complete, the service is excellent, all the luxurious criteria are combined to make you spend an unforgettable Sunday.
Especially since the menu includes the buffet, drinks, along with a glass of champagne, which they served us several times.
I would definitely go back!
