Enchantment at the Cheval Blanc Paris<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0. We had the chance to spend a night in this hotel and it was like a dream!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Customized service, exceptional location<\/strong> (one of the most beautiful views in Paris), and a decoration thought in the smallest details by the famous architect, Peter Marino<\/strong><\/a> (fridge for cosmetics in the bathroom, hammam in the shower, winders for your watches in the safe, Japanese toilets, perfect home automation\u00a0).<\/p>\n

We put down our “suitcases” in the Junior Suite on the Seine<\/strong> side and we discover the superb glass alcove of the “winter garden”,<\/strong> facing the Pont-Neuf and the Seine.<\/strong>\u00a0We enjoy this postcard in total ataraxia. We were afraid that it was badly soundproofed but the insulation is perfect.<\/strong> Be careful though, we are (very visible) from the opposite sidewalk, that’s where the electric blind makes sense!<\/p>\n

All of our hotels are designed as residences<\/strong>, with a deliberately limited number of rooms to offer an ultra-personalized service,” confirms Olivier Lefebvre, CEO of Cheval Blanc. Peter Marino<\/strong> creates a lot of villas, apartments and boats for a confidential clientele, which is one of the many reasons why we asked him to do so.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The 30 meter long pool<\/strong>\u00a0(Dior Spa) is just gorgeous! Mirror ceilings and very realistic scenography (video mapping)<\/strong>\u00a0from Oyoram and made by Raphael Benbassa. The water undulates at the same level as the Seine, reproducing the hotel’s exterior view.<\/p>\n

It took two years<\/strong> for the artist Michael Mayer<\/strong> to lay by hand an infinite number of mosaics ranging from jade to turquoise, celadon to blue.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the water is chlorine free and UV<\/strong> treated so it doesn’t attack your skin<\/strong> and your swimsuit\u00a0.<\/p>\n

We appreciate the personalized service with a bar and a waiter at the pool<\/strong> to anticipate our needs.<\/p>\n

Fran\u00e7ois Demachy<\/strong>, creator of the Christian Dior perfumes,<\/strong> has created the exclusive perfume of the Dior spa that we are pleased to find in the rooms with luxurious golden bottles.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We took the opportunity to test the restaurant\u00a0La Langosteria<\/a><\/strong> from Enrico Buonocore<\/strong>, an Italian seafood restaurant that is famous in Milan, Italy.<\/p>\n

We were conquered by:<\/p>\n

– The carpaccio of red tuna with a Mediterranean sauce.<\/strong><\/p>\n

– The tartar of scampi and foie gras with Sauternes reduction<\/strong><\/p>\n

– The King Crab 2007 “special edition<\/strong><\/p>\n

– The linguine with blue lobster<\/strong><\/p>\n

– And the superb tiramisu!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Then back in the Junior Suite, the room service had run us a hot bath<\/strong>, accompanied by classical music.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The next day we had the pleasure to have breakfast on the 7th floor of @le.toutparis<\/a>,<\/strong> the\u00a0contemporary brasserie of the Cheval Blanc hotel<\/strong>. A breathtaking panoramic view<\/strong> and I got a glimpse of the pastries of the famous pastry chef Maxime Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric<\/a><\/strong> (he was the pastry chef of the Four Seasons, George V).<\/p>\n

Between the cookies and the Savoy cake in the room and these pastries, I am already in love with his pastries.<\/strong> Obviously, big crush on the rice pudding puff, caramel .<\/strong> This will make me an excuse to come back and try the tea time at the @limbar.paris<\/a>,<\/strong> which looks like it’s going to be killer . The Limbar offers a sweet and savory bakery menu.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I was also invited to dine in the largest suite of the hotel<\/strong> during a party organized by Mo\u00ebt Hennessy and Louis Vuitton,<\/strong> and the suite is just exceptional, indoor pool, staircase, panoramic terrace, 1000m2 of custom luxury.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I hope to dine soon at Arnaud Donckele’s restaurant Pl\u00e9nitude to complete this article.<\/p>\n
