Back in Saint-Tropez for the opening of the first beaches, I looked forward to testing the new hotel of the Croix Valmer, Lily of the Valley, opened since last summer.
Lily of the Valley, it is a timeless hotel, which is made in the environment, bobo chic ambiance brilliantly decorated by Phillipe Starck, we recognize once again its imprint.
The rooms are spacious, with also a balcony (which overlooks either Gigaro Hill, the sea or the pool), with a sunbed, which is very nice. The décor is a mix of luxurious furniture mixed with raw materials, and the hotel describes it as “a simple luxury full of generosity.”
The dining room at Vista Restaurant and the terrace overlook a breathtaking 180° sea view, where the weekend orchestra rocks the sunset.
The chef Vincent Maillard signs a menu in the respect of the product, Provencal and refined that suits all epicureans like:
- Spring herbs, ricotta ravioli and garden peas coulis
- Sisteron lamb shoulder braised with savory
- Gurnard gently cooked, raw and cooked artichokes with herb pesto
- Risotto of Haute Provence small spelt, zucchinis and zucchinis flowers
- Pan-fried cherries with fennel, sorbet
- Strawberry cake with basil, ice cream with olive oil
During the day and throughout the year, you can also enjoy the Wellness Village restaurant, which enjoys a beautiful terrace overlooking the hills and an authentic and charming room.
“The healthy, gourmet and delicate Menu fills all desires : a healthy breakfast to sportsmen, a fresh and vitamin-rich lunch between spa treatments, a light snack before yoga or a guilt-free aperitif under the Mediterranean sun.”
But Lily of the Valley is also an upscale hotel with 2,000m2 dedicated to sport, care and well-being. The establishment offers several types of treatments, ultra sport, ultra weight loss or ultra wellness.
The client is followed by a naturopath (and/or a dietician) and a coach, which makes it possible to get back in shape with peace of mind.
We have already planned to reserve our place in November to make a pleasant and not drastic detox as we did last winter at Palace Merano.
As far as the service is concerned, each moment remains unique and the Director of the hotel Stéphane Personeni takes care of it closely by taking care of the clients throughout their stay.
Don’t forget that Saint-Tropez is just a few minutes away by car to pursue this waking dream and immerse yourself in the excitement of this summer.
