Los Angeles

If you go to Los Angeles and you wish to stay at Beverly Hills, I would like to recommend a hotel, in every way : the Waldorf Astoria.

The hotel opened in 2017, and this is the reason why it’s the peak of service, luxury and gastronomy.

The decoration is contemporary and modern, the rooms are spacious, very comfortable and bright. Another asset is the stunning view of each room over Los Angeles. And if you’re lucky enough to get the angle rooms, even the bedroom will offer you a superb view!

Room service during their service in the night gives you” home-made” chocolates but also La Prairie cream for the eyes.

You’ll just fall for the salty water swimming pool, heated at 30° on the rooftop of the hotel, which is in fact, one of the most beautiful rooftops in Los Angeles. You’ll also find the Rooftop by JG restaurant, with refined and gourmet cuisine: crab crumble with avocado and mango, the best avocado toasts with soft-boiled eggs on top… It’s also impossible to resist their truffle aioli and brie burger.

The decoration of this roof top is just wonderful: velvet armchairs and deep sofas, gas chimneys, wall with plants and clientele is prim but at the same time all the archetypes of the world come together! You’d definitely want to get a glimpse…

I love eating at the main restaurant of the hotel, located on the ground floor: Jean-Georges, the cuisine doesn’t leave any room for blunders, inevitable with the French touch!

Truffle Pizza, tuna tartare, Wagyu beef, crispy sushi, there is something for everyone. The clientele? Of course, one comes across many celebrities, but also beautiful international clients.

What is more appreciable is having the privilege of being driven by one of the courtesy cars of the hotel, the Rolls-Royce Phantom or the Cadillac Escalade!

The places I recommend around:

Gucci Osteria, on Rodeo Drive, signed by three-starred chef Massimo Bottura and executive chef Mattia Aggazzi, they reinvent and modernize classic Italian cuisine to perfection! This is my favorite Italian.

Ardorweho, This is the restaurant at the Edition Hotel in West Hollywood, for creative cuisine and a beautiful atmosphere.

Koi Restaurants, my new favorite Japanese restaurant in Los Angeles, a cozy atmosphere and everything is excellent.

Nobu Malibu, for a heavenly setting with the must-try Japanese cuisine.

Geoffreys is an excellent alternative when Nobu Malibu is full, a good restaurant with a superb sea view.

The Beverly Hills Hotel, for huge salads around the swimming pool

Avra, for Greek cuisine fans with a beautiful decoration and an open patio on the outside, to enjoy the sweet California weather.

The Cut for meat amateurs, one brings the piece of meat under your eyes, parmesan and truffle fries are just incredible, just like the famous “mac and cheese”.

Boa steakhouse with a beautiful patio and a Cesar salad which is made in front of you.

Catch the very trendy seafood restaurant: located on the rooftop which is partly open, one eats very well, in the company of « top models » and the other celebrities around.
