Spring is rearing its head and I have a trendy terrace in mind to recommend, so enjoy the restaurant, La Girafe!
If you’re already a fan of Gilles Malafosse and Laurent Gourcuff’s projects, La Girafe is along the same lines as Loulou and Monsieur Bleu and is gaining loyalty of its promising Parisian clients, right in front of the Eiffel Tower.
Open since the summer of 2018, La Girafe is a place where one hurries to get a table and make the most of the view, throughout lunch or dinner. A seafood atmosphere, led by the chef Benoit Dargere and a decoration hinting the 30’s, signed Joseph Dirand. All the elements are present to spend a cozy moment in a subdued atmosphere.
The menu is not only tempting but delicious too, tartar, ceviche, sashimi, jumbo shrimp, caviar, prawns, lobster. It’s all there! And for those, who aren’t a big fan of fish, the restaurant also offers farmer’s chicken with morels, which you’ll definitely just adore!
The desserts aren’t outdone either, apple tart, litchi raspberry and rose pavlova, fig tart, your taste buds are in for a treat.
Even if everything is delicious, here is what I suggest:
As starters, the King Crab and/the dashy crayfish curry dumplings broth
Main course: Chicken with morels and/or roasted crayfish with lemongrass and ginger
Dessert: Litchi raspberry and rose pavlova!
