A night at Cheval Blanc Paris

Enchantment at the Cheval Blanc Paris . We had the chance to spend a night in this hotel and it was like a dream!

Customized service, exceptional location (one of the most beautiful views in Paris), and a decoration thought in the smallest details by the famous architect, Peter Marino (fridge for cosmetics in the bathroom, hammam in the shower, winders for your watches in the safe, Japanese toilets, perfect home automation ).

We put down our “suitcases” in the Junior Suite on the Seine side and we discover the superb glass alcove of the “winter garden”, facing the Pont-Neuf and the Seine. We enjoy this postcard in total ataraxia. We were afraid that it was badly soundproofed but the insulation is perfect. Be careful though, we are (very visible) from the opposite sidewalk, that’s where the electric blind makes sense!

All of our hotels are designed as residences, with a deliberately limited number of rooms to offer an ultra-personalized service,” confirms Olivier Lefebvre, CEO of Cheval Blanc. Peter Marino creates a lot of villas, apartments and boats for a confidential clientele, which is one of the many reasons why we asked him to do so.

The 30 meter long pool (Dior Spa) is just gorgeous! Mirror ceilings and very realistic scenography (video mapping) from Oyoram and made by Raphael Benbassa. The water undulates at the same level as the Seine, reproducing the hotel’s exterior view.

It took two years for the artist Michael Mayer to lay by hand an infinite number of mosaics ranging from jade to turquoise, celadon to blue.

Moreover, the water is chlorine free and UV treated so it doesn’t attack your skin and your swimsuit .

We appreciate the personalized service with a bar and a waiter at the pool to anticipate our needs.

François Demachy, creator of the Christian Dior perfumes, has created the exclusive perfume of the Dior spa that we are pleased to find in the rooms with luxurious golden bottles.

We took the opportunity to test the restaurant La Langosteria from Enrico Buonocore, an Italian seafood restaurant that is famous in Milan, Italy.

We were conquered by:

The carpaccio of red tuna with a Mediterranean sauce.

The tartar of scampi and foie gras with Sauternes reduction

The King Crab 2007 “special edition

The linguine with blue lobster

And the superb tiramisu!

Then back in the Junior Suite, the room service had run us a hot bath, accompanied by classical music.

The next day we had the pleasure to have breakfast on the 7th floor of @le.toutparis, the contemporary brasserie of the Cheval Blanc hotel. A breathtaking panoramic view and I got a glimpse of the pastries of the famous pastry chef Maxime Frédéric (he was the pastry chef of the Four Seasons, George V).

Between the cookies and the Savoy cake in the room and these pastries, I am already in love with his pastries. Obviously, big crush on the rice pudding puff, caramel . This will make me an excuse to come back and try the tea time at the @limbar.paris, which looks like it’s going to be killer . The Limbar offers a sweet and savory bakery menu.

I was also invited to dine in the largest suite of the hotel during a party organized by Moët Hennessy and Louis Vuitton, and the suite is just exceptional, indoor pool, staircase, panoramic terrace, 1000m2 of custom luxury.

I hope to dine soon at Arnaud Donckele’s restaurant Plénitude to complete this article.
