I tested the Domaine Louise at La Croix Valmer

I tested the  Domaine Louise at La Croix Valmer with my family and I had an incredible time!

At only 20min from Saint-Tropez, Domaine Louise offers 6 luxury villas for rent, including the Villa Louise which is the most impressive (1000m2 with 11 suites and a park of 8000m2 ) and the Villa Victoire where I had the chance to stay.

With a superb sea view, the Villa Victoire is 390m2 , has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms with a main villa and two outbuildings (occupancy up to 10 people).

And as in luxury villa rentals, there is a manager, a tailor-made concierge, a 24-hour security system and daily cleaning as in a hotel.

The decoration is elegant and refined, everything is thought out in the smallest details so that one feels immediately at ease. Marcel and Jeremy (concierge and manager), took care of us from the moment we arrived by giving us a tour, and planned the final details of our stay.

We had an amazing in-home masseuse but also a talented chef who prepared a meal to our liking, including a homemade birthday cake, to celebrate my mom’s birthday.

While the chef was preparing the meal (for 5 people), I took the opportunity to have a jacuzzi on the floor of my suite with the sea view, it was magical!

At the risk of making you salivate, here is the delicious menu of the chef Nicolas on this special day.

For the aperitif:

  • Pea tarts with fresh herb cheese.
  • Quail eggs with smoked oil mayonnaise.
  • Carrot and fresh cheese

And dinner:

  • Vitello tonnato with iodine flavor, half-cooked tuna, pickle condiment served with a Lombardy Côtes de Provence estate Rosa 32, 2021.
  • Rack of lamb, short-rib juices, braised and caramelized endives, potato mousseline, spicy orange gel served with a Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune 2021 from Domaine Élodie Roy.
  • Pear, ginger and vanilla entremet served with Louis Roederer champagne collection 242.

The next morning, breakfast was also served on the dining room table according to our preferences. I had mine on the terrace of my suite, it was idyllic!

When I write that everything is thought out in the smallest details, it is because even the dishes are signed Bernardaud and the beauty products are signed Bulgari. They also thought of putting bowls for my dogs everywhere in the villa.

You can also ask to fill the wine cellar in advance or even to do the shopping in order to avoid all these “waste of time” when you are on vacation.

And you are only 5 minutes by car from the hotel Lily of the Valley  if you wish to have lunch on a beach or dinner in another, equally spectacular setting.

For a week in high season, the price is 42000€ per week.

There are of course less expensive villas if you are a couple for example or 4 people.
